Daisy Newton (b. 2000) is a deaf artist based in Manchester, UK. Primarily resolved in text, her art practice is based on her deafness, particularly language and communication. Inspired from everyday scenarios and stereotypical questions. Involving humour.

 

Working with a variety of paper mediums to explore obstruction mechanisms such as blocking, layering and reducing to gain a visual complication to replicate what its like to be deaf.
